Wednesday DOUBLE LESSON-

Our main focus of our double lesson was our TPPP presentations and how we were as a theater student after out experience of TaPS. Lydia went first and spoke about lineals and the play 'One Man Two Guvnors' we saw, she then explained how lineals are used to show emotions through a character. Halley then did hers and told us a bit about what she learnt whilst she was at TaPS, and was very interesting because she was in a different ensemble from Lydia, Axel and Me so it was interesting to see how she had change from after TaPS. Axel then did  his presentation and talked about his experiences of the whole 3 days of TaPS. Then i did my presentation and did it differently form the others and did a picture representing how i felt after TaPS and how i was as a theater student after London. I found that i was more confident and determined to work through these two possibly hard years of IB.

On our Thursday's lesson we had focused lesson on Mise en Scene which means "putting on the stage" which is everything aspect involving in the production and how process of shows go from start to finish. The 'performance concept' (or directors concept) This idea is that all these decisions are made by the idea of what the director wanted the performance to finally be like. Different aspects of this process is: costumes, props, set, acting, choreography, LX and SX.

We were then set the homework to present a pitch of 250 words selling a show we watched in London and presenting it to the whole class.
