Commedia and Acid Tests.
Monday 3rd December

The first thing we did of this was a Stanislavsky relaxing exercise aimed to relax your whole body and mind lying on the floor this would help us focus for the lesson. Lydia led the exercise and was good at reading the words and making us feel relaxed and concentrated for the lesson. After  this relaxing exercise we were then told to do a slow motion race. We did this because in Abby's master class we didn't quite do it well. So this time we did it focused and concentrated and it worked very well. There was relaxing music on in the background so we could get into a good concentrated mind set. After about 5-7 minutes we then stopped and were very concentrated.
We then go given back our 'One Man Two Guvnors' essays which was good :)

Wednesday 5th December

Because Mr.Fearnehough was off we had our double lesson on researching Commedia Dell'Arte. We we split into different groups and me and Lydia researched : Conventions of Commedia, Modern Commedia, and changes from original practice and modern version.

Thursday 6th December

Our acid tests were due in Thursday and it was interesting to see what everyone remembered from different part of the performances we saw, especially for the acid tests for the same performance like 'Oh The Humanity' and it was interesting to see what Halley and Abby remembered from the performance and things that i didn't that were different and how one thing could have a meaning to them but a different meaning to me.
After talking about our acid tests, Mr.Feranehough told us the reason why we researched Commedia the day before and that's because we are going to start our 1st BIG PROJECT all on Commedia Dell'Arte which should be very exciting!
