COMMEDIA !!!

Monday 10th December: Halley Rose started the lesson by presenting her acid test. It was really interesting to see how she used the birdcage in her presentation as the main focus and all the quotes written around it. And t showed the sort of questions we ask ourselves in real life. We were then given the homework to come up with a story line or something to inspire us to come up with a scenario. 

Wednesday 12th December: We started planing our COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE piece. We started off by making an action plan together and discussed every single step we would have to do to make our piece perfect. We have no a pretty stable plan that we are going to be able to work on until the performance date which is not yet set. Mr.Fearnehough then got us all up and make us go one by one trying to make the whole ensemble laugh. It was a bit hard at first to think of something because you want to make people laugh so much that i felt i became a bit nervous because i wasn't sure what would make people laugh. We were then told to think of a word the reflect on how that went and everyone's words were mostly the same. 


Mr. Fearnhough then told us about 'the cop in the head', and he explained it to us and i realized how it happens to me in different lessons when i don't ask for help or when i don't put my hand up to answer questions which i would like to answer but i fear that i will get it wrong. 


Thursday 13th December: We were set homework to just finish off the action plan for the Commedia piece. We have a pretty clear plan we just have to finalize dates. We then talked about our scenario ideas, and i found that my idea had changed from listening to other peoples ideas. There was some very interesting ideas such as romantic ones, spy ones, cheating ones and i thought that maybe they could all go together and we could have a good story line. Because Commedia has a lot of audience participation i'm excited to see how we are going to do this in our piece. I'm really excited to start our first big group project and see how we are all going to work together to make it enjoyable and funny
