Week 11: Moving Away from TaPS and into new things...

Monday- The very first thing we did this week was a relaxing exercise. Lydia read the words to us and everyone else (except Halley because she was sick)lay on the floor and relaxed. Then, Mr. Fearnehough had us go back over slow motion by doing a slow motion race. He played us music and left us alone for awhile so we  could concentrate on our motions. This was very good since it did not seem like our class had been able to concentrate very well when I taught the class before. After that Mr. Fearnehough passed back our graded "One Man, Two Guvnors" evaluations. Mr. Fearnehough wrote that I was to harsh judging the play for using planted actors. I spent a whole paragraph and part of the conclusion talking about it.

Wednesday- Mr. Fearnehough was at home with his son so he left us an assignment- Make a presentation about Commedia Dell'arte. We split into three groups-Me and Halley, Axel and Mary, and Lydia and Bekki.

Thursday-We turned in our Acid tests. Each person got a chance to explain what their acid test meant and describe their reactions to the performances. Mary did "The Container", Axel did "Damned by Despair". Lydia did "One Man, Two Guvnors" and Bekki and me did "Oh, The Humanity!". Everyone's acid test looked really cool! After that we hung our posters on the wall and discussed what we are going to do next.- A production of Commedia Dell'arte that we are going to devise ourselves and perform in front of a group of people.
